Amahl Hazelton joined Moment Factory in 2009, and now heads Strategy and Development for the multimedia studio’s ‘Cities’ division. His experience in Digital Placemaking ranges from experiential place promotion activations for Tourism bureaus, to permanent visitor attractions, to storytelling activations on flagship civic facades from the National Arts Centre and federal Parliament in Ottawa to the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
A graduate of McGill University’s School of Urban Planning with a specialization in Place Branding & Competitive Identity, Amahl has led the development of groundbreaking media architecture installations that celebrate local, regional and national identity from flagship civic gateways such as LAX and Changi airports to iconic civil infrastructure such as the Interactive Illumination of Montreal’s monumental Jacques Cartier Bridge--which earned the Smart Cities Grand Prize at SXSW 2018.

Since arriving in Perth and prior to Committee for Perth, Paula has been a publisher, event CEO, marketing and communications manager for aged care and a global law firm and State Director of a national economic development membership organisation.
Paula has held various board director roles, and consulted to government, the public sector, universities, and a number of clients in the private sector on communication, marketing, events and stakeholder management.

A 2023 project with Serco at Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth has elevated their CMMS/CAFM to new levels promoting safety, excellence, and efficiencies. Using the same core systems, Matthew and the SSG Insight team create complex rail solutions in Canada and Europe to capture rail metrics that enable precise reporting by sifting data from millions of IoT devices and using complex algorithms to manage the performance of the contract.

Group Chief Executive Officer , St John's
Kevin joined St John WA as its first Group Chief Executive Officer in January 2023. His appointment will focus on high quality care and services being delivered. Kevin brings more than 20 years’ experience in corporate, operational and commercial roles in airports across Australia and the United Kingdom. During that time, Kevin led a complex range of operations across 24/7 environment, most recently at the Perth Airport as Chief Executive Officer. Kevin led the Perth Airport team for more than six years, overseeing significant growth during his tenure, ensuring that runways and terminals remained operational through the COVID-19 pandemic, with great benefit of WA and Australia. Kevin has a strong reputation of leadership, growth strategy and driving transformational change while at the same time demonstrating positive culture development. He will bring his wealth of experience to further develop all of St John WA’s services. Kevin’s experience extends to prior Board roles within Tourism Western Australia, Australian Institute of Management in Western Australia (AIM WA) and Committee for Perth. He is a current St John Event Health Services Volunteer, General Council Member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia, and a Practitioner Fellow for the University of Western Australia’s Public Policy Institute.

Carolyn Turnbull recently concluded her tenure as the Managing Director of Tourism WA. Notably, her initiatives resulted in a record-breaking $17.7 billion in visitor spend, surpassing pre-COVID levels by a phenomenal 31%. She also created the globally recognised tourism brand "Walking On A Dream," attracting visitors from around the world. Additionally, her efforts led to securing high-profile exclusive events and facilitating nonstop flights to 19 international destinations, solidifying Perth's reputation as the Western Gateway to Australia.
With over 20 years of international experience in the tourism, hospitality, and aviation industries, Carolyn previously served as the Chief Aviation Development Officer at Perth Airport. Before this, she spent over a decade working alongside industry pioneer Adrian Zecha, Founder of Aman Resorts.
Carolyn holds an Executive MBA in Hospitality Management from Nanyang Business School, Singapore, and is a graduate of the Cornell School of Hotel Administration Advanced Management Program. She is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Chris Rodwell is the Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Western Australia (CCIWA), a position he has held since early 2018. His passion is to create a bold and contemporary Australia that provides an opportunity for everyone to make a valued contribution.
CCIWA plays a critical role in championing trade and commerce in Western Australia and the nation. It has 7,500 members spanning from small businesses to major ASX-listed and multinational companies. It provides a range of independent services to the business community, including workplace relations and HR advice, accounting and taxation, trade & investment consulting, industry skills development, commercial legal and supply chain support.
Chris has held a range of senior executive and non-executive roles, spanning the private, public and ‘for purpose’ sectors. He has a track record in business and cultural transformation, international trade & investment, public policy, stakeholder engagement, and corporate governance. Much of his experience has been gained in international markets in the Americas and Europe.
During his tenure, CCIWA has secured several major policy outcomes including landmark reform of Australia’s system for GST distribution. The team is currently focussed on a range of initiatives, which extend to modernising workplaces, decarbonisation and the energy transition, and economic diversification.

Chris and his wife, Katie, raise four children, two with disabilities. His daughter, Lucinda, has Down Syndrome and his son, Oscar, has a neurological disability. He has also undertaken graduate studies in social entrepreneurship and impact investing through the University of New South Wales. He attended the Executive Colloquium at the Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership in 2022.

He is deeply committed to the Institute’s mission; to inspire better workplaces through delivering high-quality learning experiences, celebrating and recognising excellence, and influencing conversations that matter.

Drew's pioneering work in the use of innovative technologies for teaching and learning has been presented at national and international conferences and published by the Australian Council of Educational Leaders (ACEL).
In his work as a lecturer and mentor of pre-service teachers in Edith Cowan University’s School of Education, he has been acknowledged his students for excellence in teaching and learning.
In 2023, Drew was awarded a prestigious Churchill Fellowship to investigate how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can enhance teacher effectiveness, seeking to address Australian educational challenges, including teacher shortages and educational equity in remote areas.
His research is focused on understanding how AI can enable personalised learning and bridge the educational gap in underserved communities. The findings of Drew’s project will provide valuable insights and system-level recommendations that will contribute to solving critical challenges in the Australian education landscape.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Drew is a sought-after session guitarist and creative producer, a mentor in the Perth music production scene and an avid distance runner.
